- At the end of the term, students should be able to:
- Differentiate between sets of counting, whole, odd, even, prime, composite and fractional numbers.
- Read and write numbers up to eight digits.
- Identify the place value of tenth, hundredth or thousandth in numbers.
- Identify common factors of two given numbers.
- Identify multiples of a number and the common multiples of two or more numbers.
- Identify multiples of a number and the common multiples of two or more numbers.
- Describe a set as being finite, infinite or empty.
- Describe and draw parallel, perpendicular and intersecting line segments within the environment.
- Determine the decade/ century in which an event took place given the year of the event.
- Perform the four operations on units of time.
- Identify an angle as being acute, right, obtuse and reflex.
- Record temperature above or below zero degrees.
- Draw pictographs, line graphs, bar graphs, to show given data and interpret such graphs.
- Differentiate between the use of millimeter, centimeter, decimeter, meter, and kilometer in measurement situations.
- Recognize and use the relationship between the millimeter, centimeter, decimeter, meter, and kilometer in measurement situations.
