  • At the end of the term, students should be able to:
  • Differentiate between sets of counting, whole, odd, even, prime, composite and fractional numbers.
  • Read and write numbers up to eight digits.
  • Identify the place value of tenth, hundredth or thousandth in numbers.
  • Identify common factors of two given numbers.
  • Identify multiples of a number and the common multiples of two or more numbers.
  • Identify multiples of a number and the common multiples of two or more numbers.
  • Describe a set as being finite, infinite or empty.
  • Describe and draw parallel, perpendicular and intersecting line segments within the environment.
  • Determine the decade/ century in which an event took place given the year of the event.
  • Perform the four operations on units of time.
  • Identify an angle as being acute, right, obtuse and reflex.
  • Record temperature above or below zero degrees.
  • Draw pictographs, line graphs, bar graphs, to show given data and interpret such graphs.
  • Differentiate between the use of millimeter, centimeter, decimeter, meter, and kilometer in measurement situations.
  • Recognize and use the relationship between the millimeter, centimeter, decimeter, meter, and kilometer in measurement situations.
