What Will You Learn?
- At the end of the term, students should be able to:
- Identify parts of a circle. (Radius, diameter, centre, circumference, sector)
- Investigate the numerical relationship between the circumference of a circle and its radius and diameter.
- Solve problems involving the calculation of circumference of a circle.
- State the probability of a simple event.
- Perform and report a variety of probability experiments.
- Formulate all possible outcomes of an experiment. For example, tossing a fair coin, rolling a fair die.
- Calculate any one of the measures of distance, time and rate of travel (average speed) given the measure of the other two.
- Show knowledge of financial institution.
- Identify types of financial institutions.
